Zenith Bank Plc has appointed Dr Adaora Umeoji as its new Group Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer (GMD/CEO), making her the first female to occupy the position in the bank.
As the first female to hold the role, Dr. Adaora Umeoji has been selected by Zenith Bank Plc as its new Group Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer (GMD/CEO).
Michael Otu, the bank’s secretary, said in a statement that her appointment is in line with the bank’s internal leadership development program and history.
The bank said Adaora Umeoji will replace Ebenezer Onyeagwu whose five-year tenure as GMD/CEO ends on May 31.
