Our submarine campaign will cause an upset on Nov. 4

A spokesperson for Dr Akoto Afriyie’s campaign team, Dr Prince Sodoke Amuzu, has said that they are operating in silence to cause an upset on November 4.

He says the Dr Akoto Afriyie campaign heeded the calls by delegates for them not to be loud but rather reach out to them in every part of the country.

Dr Prince Amuzu said that just as they were written off during the superdelegates’ conference but made it to the final five, Dr Akoto Afriyie will prove himself during the November 4 elections when he causes an upset.

“We are reaching out to the delegates in silence. We are reaching out to the people with our message of hope for members of the NPP. Through our rounds, we have been promised that we will win. They say we should not be loud about our campaign because they are prepared to vote for us.

It will shock you to know that most of the delegates are farmers, and they are happy that a farmer is also in the race. We are telling them that we will open companies for the party in the various constituencies, and that will make them financially viable in order for all party members to benefit from it,” he said.

Adding that “Ghana has been to the IMF 17 times, and that is not good for a developing country, we expect that we will use agriculture to save the country’s ailing economy, and the delegates will benefit from what we have for them”.
