The Ashanti Regional Chairman for the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Bernard Antwi Boasiako popularly known as Chairman Wontumi, has declared that the party will win the 2024 general elections with Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia and that the National Democratic Congress (NDC) cannot stop them.
“We are doing all this because we know with Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia the NPP will break the 8. We are winning the 2024 elections and the NDC cannot stop us”. He declared.
According to him, the love for Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia in the Ashanti region is unmatched and the Ashanti region is poised to give the Vice President a 100% vote on the November 4 NPP primaries.
“In Ashanti when we give you our support we support you in cash and kind and for that matter Ashanti region will give Dr Bawumia 100%”.
Chairman Wontumi, hinted that MPs, MMDCEs, CEOs, Business moguls, Party executives and other politicians in the NPP in the Ashanti have decided to take up the cost of the November 4 NPP primaries on behalf of the Vice President.
He urged delegates at the Tamale Central where the vice president visited to interact with delegates to vote massively for him to lead the party in the 2024 general elections.
