Actress Lydia Forson is of the view that Kennedy Agyapong’s allegation of being offered $800 million to step down from the New Patriotic Party (NPP) flagbearership race must be investigated.

She is of the view that this should not be treated as a mere statement by the maverick Member of Parliament who has in the last couple of months been making vote-buying allegations.

Lydia who is known for being tough on various governments, said in a tweet on X “My question is, why aren’t these allegations being investigated and people jailed? Beyond pissing us off in the hopes of getting us to vote against them, what else can we do with this information? $800 million when we don’t have hospital beds and no one is going to jail?”.

Background

Kennedy Agyapong has alleged that the Vice President of Ghana offered him $800 million to step down from the race.

He says he rejected his offer because he stands for the people of Ghana and has come to ensure the needed development takes place in the country.

To hm, he will not accept any offer given to him because he is the one the people of Ghana want and will never give in to any offer which will make him a selfish man.
