Member of Parliament for Bawku Central, Mahama Ayariga has told the Governor of the Bank of Ghana that he will file a report with the Office of the Special Prosecutor against him and his deputies with regard to contracts awarded for the construction of a new head office for the central bank.
He says he suspects that the team from the Bank of Ghana colluded with the contractors of the new office to overprice the project to the detriment of the country.
Mahama Ayariga, he rejects the use of national security considerations to avoid answering questions with regards to the building of the new project and its pricing, which has been an issue for national discourse.
