The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has set up a five-member committee to get a new coach for the Black Stars.

This follows the dismissal of Chris Hughton after the group-stage exit of the Black Stars from the ongoing Africa Cup of Nations.

The committee will be chaired by Mark Addo, who is also the Vice President of the GFA and the Chairman of the Black Stars Management Committee.

Lawyer Ace Ankomah will act as the Vice Chairman.

The members are Professor Joseph Kwame Mintah, who is the GFA’s Director of Coaching Education, former player Opoku Anti and William Kartey Caesar, who is the Chief Director of the Ministry of Youth and Sports.

The committee has up to three weeks to recommend a candidate to the Executive Council for approval.
